Updating Transactions in EDISS Connect
For All Submitters

Existing providers wishing to update transactions in EDISS Connect, such as adding an additional transaction or changing vendors, can do so by logging into their EDISS Connect account, clicking “Manage Transactions” and selecting the NPI.  The current EDI enrollment status will be displayed and any transaction updates can be completed on this page. For additional assistance with updating Connect transactions, there are User Guides and tutorials available; visit www.edissweb.com , select your state and Registration in the menu to locate them.

Note: The 837 transactions allow up to two submission methods to be selected, all other transactions only allow one.

Determining Which NPI to Use for EDISS Connect Registration
For All Submitters

Providers should only register for transactions in EDISS Connect using their Billing NPI.  Rendering or Individual NPIs will be removed from EDISS Connect.

Note: Medicare providers that are unsure of how their NPI(s) are registered, can verify them by referencing their provider enrollment approval letter or the PECOS registration system. The Enrollment on Demand Tutorial titled Where Can I Find My PTAN? located on med.noridianmedicare.com contains instructions on how to view the enrollment record within PECOS.

Accessing Your Existing EDISS Connect Account
For All Submitters

We often receive calls where providers are trying to register their billing NPI in EDISS Connect and receive an error stating NPI already registered. Select 90 day link on Log In page. This means that the NPI is already on file in EDISS Connect and a user just needs to be created to gain access.

Providers and their direct employees, whose EDISS Connect user has been de-activated or removed due to inactivity, now have the ability to gain access to their existing EDISS Connect registration profile without having to call the EDI Help Desk for assistance.

Note: Vendors will still need to contact the EDI Help Desk to gain access to their Vendor account(s).
