Reports and Remittances Availability Reminder

For All Submitters

Reports and remittances can be reposted within a 30-day timeframe, but will only be available in the Submitter’s mailbox for approximately two weeks before they will time out.  After this timeframe, Trading Partners will need to contact EDI Support Services (EDISS) to have the file reposted. Healthcare industry standards advise retention periods of only 5-7 business days. To assist our Trading Partners, EDISS retains all data for 30 days.

EDISS strongly suggests all Trading Partners log into their mailbox daily to ensure they are receiving and retaining all items. If Trading Partners are retrieving data via a Network Service Vendor, verify the download destination to ensure these files are continually available. Please backup all data received from the EDISS mailbox to ensure data is retained in your office.


EDISS Payer IDs

For All Submitters

EDISS has received an influx of calls from providers requesting their payer IDs. The payer ID indicated in the ISA08, GS03, 1000B NM109 and 2010BB NM109 segments should all match the line of business indicated in Connect.

Utilizing the Gateway SSPR for Password Resets

For All Submitters

EDISS  requires all Gateway users to utilize the Gateway SSPR website to gain access to their account when their Gateway password has been forgotten or has expired.

The “Forgot password?” option utilizes the security questions and answers that were created during the registration process. EDISS recommends Gateway users store their security questions and answers in a safe and secure location where they can be accessed for future use.
